JHF was established in 2015 in collaboration with the religious corporation Assalam Foundation and Assalam Masjid in Okachimachi, Tokyo, with the main purpose of spreading the idea of Halal in Japan and providing opportunities and knowledge to the Japanese people.
JHF inspects and certifies food according to Islamic law and internationally recognized methods. And their standards apply to all stages of food processing, including receiving, preparing, processing, sorting, sorting, packing, labeling, shipping, transportation, distribution and storage. Whether large or small, JHF carefully investigates and monitors not only the company where the food is processed, but also the entire process from the producer of the raw material to the mouth of the consumer.
